Today, at the IFDA Distribution Solutions Conference, Craig Hoskins, President and Chief Operating Officer of Performance Food Group and former IFDA Board Chair was honored with the 2022 IFDA Cornerstone Award on the general session stage. This award honors an industry leader who has given above and beyond what is expected and achieved a positive, lasting impact on IFDA’s success.
IFDA’s President and CEO Mark S. Allen shared a few thoughts on Hoskins’s tenure during the ceremony:
Craig assumed his Chair position with IFDA two and a half months before the federal government shut down commerce due to the pandemic. As you all know, this proved to be a challenging time for our country and the foodservice industry in particular. Given the incredible stress on the industry, Craig did what great leaders do – he put his head down and he got to work.
And even though I know he was working around the clock on his leadership duties at PFG, he always made himself available to discuss IFDA issues and help me navigate and set priorities during the pandemic’s early days.
Craig has been generous with his time and counsel and has been a great resource to me, and is dedicated to making sure that PFG leads in a wide range of association activities. He has been a strong voice for foodservice distribution and has done a remarkable job representing the interests of all distributors.
