Induction into the IFDA Truck Driver Hall of Fame is a lifetime achievement. It acknowledges a driver’s remarkable career marked by safety and service. Only a select few qualify, with the strictest criteria:
- At least 25 years of continuous employment with an IFDA member company.
- No chargeable accidents for the 25 years prior to the nomination.
- A clean driving record with no moving violations in the past five years (MVR to be attached with nomination).
- An active CDL license (CDL to be attached with nomination).

Who can be nominated?
Induction into the IFDA Truck Driver Hall of Fame is a lifetime achievement. It acknowledges a driver’s remarkable career marked by safety and service. Only a select few qualify, with the strictest criteria:
– At least 25 years of continuous employment with an IFDA member company

What is the nomination process?
We work together with IFDA Member companies throughout the nomination and verification process.
Nominators will gather and submit the history and qualifications of the nominee. IFDA will verify their details and reach out to the nominator to schedule a phone call to finalize the nomination.
What is the deadline for nominations?
Nomination Process Key Dates are as follows:
Call for Nominations: March 30 – May 15
Nominations Close: May 15 (Please ensure all nominations are submitted by this date)
Review Process: May 18 – May 29
Confirmation Emails: June 1 – June 5
How will nominees be notified?
Nominators and their respective nominees will be notified by email of their acceptance to the IFDA Hall of Fame.

What happens at the ceremony?
Held at the IFDA Solutions Conference, the IFDA Hall of Fame ceremony and banquet is a collective gathering of all member companies with an inductee entering this year’s class.
Drivers may choose to have one guest accompany them to IFDA Solutions Conference to join them in this career milestone.
We celebrate each Hall of Fame inductee with an award certificate, a custom engraved watch and stage recognition of their monumental achievement.
The hosted cocktail reception and banquet feature a red carpet for our nominees and their guests to take pictures, mingle with colleagues, and celebrate.
