This presentation and discussion combine the impactful lessons of history with a modern organizational model of character-based leadership. Leaders of character are inherently more trusted and more effective, and so are the organizations they lead.

Leadership excellence is fundamentally rooted in masterful communication. This intensive session explores the transformative power of language in leadership, focusing on three critical dimensions: strategic dialogue, feedback dynamics, and courageous conversations. 
Participants will learn: 
– The art of strategic listening: moving beyond hearing to understanding underlying meanings and motivations 
– A structured approach to giving and receiving feedback that drives positive change while maintaining relationships 
– Techniques for initiating and navigating difficult conversations with clarity and confidence 
– Methods for creating psychological safety that enables honest, productive dialogue across all organizational levels 
– Strategies for adapting communication style to different situations and audiences, drawing from Washington’s own practices of situational leadership
