Mark Allen

As President and CEO of IFDA, Mark is deeply committed to advancing the organization’s mission of driving the growth, development, and success of the $382 billion foodservice distribution industry. Since assuming his current role in 2004, Mark has been instrumental in expanding IFDA’s influence and impact. He has led numerous strategic initiatives that have shaped the association into the influential force it is today, fostering innovation, collaboration, and industry-wide progress.

Before joining IFDA, Mark held senior leadership positions at the Grocery Manufacturers of America, served as a management consultant with West-Hudson & Company, and began his career as a sales associate at American Home Products. Mark holds a B.S. in Marketing and Economics from the State University of New York at Oswego and an M.B.A. from James Madison University. Passionate about the foodservice distribution industry, Mark finds immense satisfaction working alongside the dedicated professionals who are shaping its future and in tackling the industry’s most pressing challenges. Mark resides in Leesburg, Virginia with his wife, Lisa, and their three sons.
