Hotel & Destination
The University of Virginia is located in Charlottesville, VA. UVA Darden’s grounds provide an ideal environment for learning and reflection away from daily distractions.
The renovated classrooms, learning team spaces, and scenic outdoor gathering and working spaces have been recently augmented by the opening of The Forum Hotel by Kimpton on Grounds.
The Forum features state-of-the-art classrooms, as well as botanical gardens and a five-acre arboretum with walking trails that connect The Forum to UVA.
*Please note that reservations are handled by the university and are automatically made for participants when they register for the program.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that circumstances can change, and participants may need to cancel their enrollment in the Executive Leadership Program. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair and transparent, considering the administrative commitments and resources involved in preparing for each participant’s attendance. Please carefully review the following cancellation terms:
Cancellation Requests: All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to the program coordinator via email or formal letter. Verbal requests will not be considered.
Refund Eligibility: Cancellation 30 Days or More Before Program Start: Participants who cancel their enrollment 30 days or more before the program’s scheduled start date are eligible for a full refund of the program fee minus a $100 administrative processing fee.
Cancellation 15 to 29 Days Before Program Start: Participants who cancel their enrollment between 15 and 29 days before the program’s scheduled start date are eligible for a 50% refund of the program fee.
Cancellation 14 Days or Less Before Program Start: Unfortunately, participants who cancel their enrollment 14 days or less before the program’s scheduled start date are not eligible for a refund.
Substitution of Participants: If a registered participant is unable to attend the program, a substitute participant from the same organization may be nominated to attend in their place. Substitution requests must be submitted in writing and approved by the program coordinator at least 7 days before the program start date. Program substitutions may not be made after the start of the program.
No-Show Policy: Participants who do not attend the program without prior written notice will not be eligible for a refund, transfer, or credit.
Exceptions: Exceptions to this cancellation policy may be considered on a case-by-case basis for extenuating circumstances, such as medical emergencies or unavoidable travel restrictions. Requests for exceptions should be submitted in writing with supporting documentation.
By enrolling in the Executive Leadership Program, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by the terms of this cancellation policy.
