IFDA Distributor Member Honor Foods Hosts U.S. Congressman Darren Soto (D-FL) at New Distribution Center

MCLEAN, Va – Aug. 5, 2025 – Honor Foods, a leading foodservice redistributor and IFDA member, welcomed U.S. Rep. Darren Soto (D-FL) to their newly opened distribution facility in Kissimmee, Florida. The visit provided an opportunity for dialogue about the foodservice distribution industry and its role in America’s food supply chain.
During the facility tour, Representative Soto gained insight into modern foodservice distribution operations while Honor Foods leadership discussed industry opportunities and challenges, including workforce development and economic impact on local communities.
The new Kissimmee facility represents Honor Foods’ strategic expansion across the Southeast region. This state-of-the-art distribution center enhances capacity to serve existing customers while positioning the company to reach new markets throughout Florida and neighboring states. The facility serves as the new headquarters for Sunny Morning Orlando operations and features advanced cold storage, automated inventory management, and modern loading infrastructure.
