The International Foodservice Distributors Association is a trade organization comprised of foodservice distributors serving foodservice operations throughout the U.S., Canada, and many other countries. These members include broadline, system, and specialty distributors with operations ranging from regional to international scope.

IFDA provides industry support in two areas including government relations and industry relations, education, and research. IFDA's government relations efforts focus on federal level legislative and regulatory issues, keeping members appraised of developments that will affect the industry and lobbying on behalf of the foodservice distribution community. IFDA's industry relations efforts vary from providing forums for interaction between the distributor and supplier communities to research and education efforts supporting the foodservice supply channel.
